Protecting your domain name WHOIS data

A domain whois will reveal the contact details of a domain name, some people prefer to hide this information to maintain their privacy. It is possible to do this if your domain is a gTLD or you have a .UK domain name that's not for commercial use.

gTLD domain names

If the domain name is a gTLD such as .com then you can addon domain privacy for only £3.50+VAT per year, to arrange this please email the billing team and we will take care of that for you.

.uk domain names

With .uk domains the process of protecting your contact details is called "whois opt-out", if you have a domestic registration .uk domain name and you would like top opt-out of the whois please email our billing team. There's no charge for this.
