Why can't I access my cpanel?

There are a number of reasons you may not be able to access your cPanel, we've listed these below:

  1. If you are not prompted by a login box, you are trying to access your cPanel from behind a firewall that does not have port 2082 open, cPanel needs this port open to work. It is still possible to access cPanel even if you're behind firewall, to do this you need to use the following URL:

    http://cpanel.domain.com

Replacing "domain.com" with your actual domain name.
  2. We operate brute force detection on our server that will block access after a number of incorrect login attempts, if you've tried to login with incorrect details chances are the system has blocked your IP. You will need to contact support to have your IP de-listed.

If you have forgotten your cPanel details you can view these at any time via your Customer Portal account.
  3. Your account is suspended either due an overdue payment or a breach of our terms of service, you can check for outstanding invoices in your Customer Portal.
  4. There is a problem with the server your account is on or maintenance being carried out on the server, please check our Network Issues page before contacting support.
