How do I change my cPanel password?

Your cPanel is where you manage your web hosting plan and it's password protected, if you need to change your password there are two ways to do it:

If you know your existing cPanel password

Login to your cPanel control panel and choose "Change Password". You'll be prompted for both your original password and the new password you wish to be associated with your hosting account. Once you've entered all the necessary information, click the "Change Your Password Now!" button.

Once done your password for that cPanel account will be changed. If you use the same login details for WHM too (applicable to resellers only) this will also have been changed.

If you don't know your cPanel password

If you've forgotton your cPanel password don't worry, you can still change it from your Customer Portal account.

  1. Login to your secure Customer Portal account.
  2. From the "Services & Domains" menu click on "Products & Services".
  3. Then click on the "Manage" button for the account you require the details for, from here you can view the details and change the password if required.
